Issue No 2 - August 2006

"It is not your aptitude but your attitude that determines your altitude."

(Zig Ziglar - salesman, writer, motivational speaker and born-again Christian)

Welcome to the second issue of BishopsBlue. There is a great deal happening at Bishops and it is a difficult decision deciding what not to include, and in this regard I am still very much finding my way. There was a wonderfully positive reponse to the first issue and I hope that this just gets better all the time. It is envisaged that this newsletter will be published more frequently but not in the immediate future. Publication date will remain mid-term in the meantime.

In this issue's leading articles, we have a boy's-eye view of the Eisteddfod, a golf pro's take on a rising golf star, a father-teacher's look at the Exchange Programme, and an overview of the Vital Health Foods sponsorship of rugby development at Bishops. In addition, you can also read about the exploits of our organ scholar, John Woodland, as well as those of the principal whilst on sabbatical; as well as a brief interview with Nick Koster, our latest SA Schools A rugby player.

Each new early issue will probably spawn another innovation, and this time it is the Bishops Bytes section, where you will be able to read snippets of information over a range of typically Bishops activities.
